She has been recognized for her honest and straight-forward manner in “getting-it-done!”

Community Commitment

Irene has a long history of being actively involved in the West Jordan community.  She began her community involvement working on neighborhood zoning issues with the West Jordan City Council in 1993. She was an active participant with the West Jordan Citizens Forum. For many years she was a member of her local PTA Board involved on many projects to benefit our schools.  And she has worked tirelessly as ambassador, fundraiser, and legislative committee representative for a local Chamber of Commerce.

Irene believes in creating a community in West Jordan that is both resident-friendly and business-friendly.  She will continue to be a strong voice for the residents and businesses of our community!

Well-Grounded in Good Values

Irene was born in Pocatello, Idaho. While attending Brigham Young University, she met and married her spouse of 28 years, Trent Casper.  They have three children and one grandchild.  Irene and her family have lived in West Jordan for 20 years and have found it to be a great place to live and raise a family.
