There are many important historical structures in West Jordan that we need to preserve. Coming from a farming community in Idaho I was pleased to see the preservation of the Steadman Barn and the renovation of Pioneer Hall. Preserving our history is essential and as Mayor I will support our West Jordan Historical Society.

As Mayor I will work to protect important historical structures related to the Sugar Factory and to raise the public’s awareness of the benefit to our city from preservation and adaptable use. I envision Sugar Factory as a center of cultural interest in our City and will fight to retain its historical significance.
